Dr. Hu (hhu@csumb.edu) had served as the Department Chair at CSUMB over the past thirteen years. Dr. Hu is nationally recognized for his efforts in building learning communities in mathematics that incorporate technology to create a dynamic and visually engaging classroom experience. Dr. Hu's innovations in both pedagogy and program design have brought the CSUMB national recognition and statewide awards, Including California innovation award in high education for his developmental mathematics program. Dr. Hu is the recipient of 2019 NROC Individual Contributor Award for his work on EdReady/ACT project.
