Dr. Frank Bäuerle (bauerle@ucsc.edu) is Teaching Professor and Undergraduate Vice Chair of Mathematics at UC Santa Cruz. He has been in the trenches of undergraduate education at UCSC for 25 years and has taught successfully at all levels of the undergraduate Mathematics curriculum. His most recent work is with Professor Tromba where they successfully developed online versions of Calculus and Vector Calculus for Science, Engineering and Mathematics. The goal is to provide access to high-quality calculus courses for UC students as well as for a broad national and international audience.
