As innovative strategies emerge and new technologies are selected, the way that information is relayed to the campus community can become a key component of adoption. The approach should reflect the ways the audience typically consumes information as well as encourages expanding those methods. Common communication methods involve emails, webpages, and handouts. The opportunities to expand outreach include additional modes, such as blogging, social media, and videos. A communication plan should inspire and encourage creativity while offering support. This presentation will provide an opportunity to share successful communication strategies that have been used on campuses to not only provide information about technology but also encourage participation in professional development programs.
